Course Studio - What is Studio?

Course Studio is the course authoring area of the Knowledge Anywhere LMS where administrators build, style, review, and publish the online courses learners take on the platform. It combines a visual page editor, a hierarchical outline, reusable templates and styling, a collaborative review process, and full version control into a single workspace.

 What You Can Do With It

  • Build courses visually. A page editor with rows, columns, and content blocks lets authors design responsive pages without writing code.
  • Organize content into a structured outline. Sections and pages form the table of contents that learners work through.
  • Test learners with built-in assessments. Quiz pages support automatic grading and a range of question formats.
  • Reuse work across courses. Course templates, page layout templates, and styling configurations help teams keep courses consistent without recreating them from scratch.
  • Collaborate on content. Multiple people can contribute to a course through a clear review-and-approval workflow, with inline comments for feedback before content reaches learners.
  • Manage courses over time. Version control moves courses through Draft, In Review, Published, and Archived states so updates happen safely, without disrupting learners already using the current version.
  • AI assisted creation is available as an add-on

Course Studio uses role-based permissions, so course authors, reviewers, and administrators each see the capabilities relevant to their role.
