LMS Maintenance Notes – November 4, 2025

This release includes bug fixes and improvements to enhance system usage, launch issues, and several enhancements to Assessments, along with several fixes to the Scormify platform

[Feature Improvement] Course Tab Reorganization

We’re reorganizing course tabs to make navigation easier and more intuitive. No features are being removed, everything you rely on will still be available. This update is designed to create a more fluid and familiar experience across all course types, so working with any course will feel consistent and streamlined.

New Tab: Scheduling

The Scheduling tab will contain all scheduling options for courses. Featured On, Renewals, and Due Date have been moved from the Information tab to the Scheduling tab. 

Assessments have an additional option, Retakes, in the Scheduling tab, below Due Date, called Retakes.

     

    [Feature Improvement] Assessments - Settings

    New Tab: Assessment Settings

    Assessments have an additional tab, Settings, which contains the broader configuration options for assessments themselves.

    Feature - Attempt Cap

    Admins can now limit the number of attempts learners have on assessments.

    Admin Experience:

    • New settings available in Assessment settings (see image above):
      • On/off toggle for attempt cap.
      • Numeric input for maximum attempts (must be greater than zero).
      • Resetting attempts also resets the last attempt for this cap.
    Learner Experience:
    • Attempts remaining are displayed below the assessment description.
    • Once the attempt limit is reached, learners cannot retake the assessment; the Launch/Try Again button is disabled or hidden.
    • A message will notify learners when the cap is reached (message details TBD).

    Feature - Display

    Certain Display options are available to customize the assessment experience, providing visibility and context to question pooling, navigation, and submission (See above screenshot).

    • Display Question Pool Name to Learner - Showcases the pool the question is a part of during and after the assessment
    • Navigation Type - Dictate if a learner must take all questions in the order they're organized, or allow to select from the side navigation. 
    • Submission Criteria - Dictate if a learner must review their answers or submit immediately after all questions have been answered
