Resource Library

This guide walks you through how to add, manage, and assign resources using the Resource Library. Augmenting and enhancing your learners' experience has never been easier.

What is the Resource Library?

Accessed via the content section > Manage Content dropdown header, the Resource Library is your a hub for supplemental materials in your LMS. It supports both file uploads and URL links, making it easy to organize and utilize materials across multiple courses for uses such as supplemental material for courses, and the Self-Study Course.

The library gives you a clear view of all your content, including resource type, language availability, and last updated date. You can edit or remove resources at any time to keep things current.

What a Resource Object?

A resource object is a document, a link, a piece of learning content that can be attached to course. They are the main basis of a self study course. They can also be attached courses as supplementary materials to the course.

The current accepted file types for resource objects are: .pdf | .gif | .jpg | .jpeg | .png | .tiff | .docx | .xls | .xslx | .ppt | .pptx | .csv | .txt

Resource Objects allow for multiple documents under the same entry so they can be localized by language. Learners will see the version of a resource that matches their language preference, or the default if no localized version is available.

You can upload files or link to external URLs, and even provide versions in multiple languages. Once added, these resources become available for use in any course—no need to re-upload.

Resources can be attached to most course types via the Resources Tab. Learners will only see resources that match their selected language, keeping the experience clean and relevant.
