LMS Maintenance Notes - July 21st, 2026

This release includes fixes for reporting and export errors, and resolves issues with group enrollment, badges, and Learning Path updates

Bug Fixes

[Groups & Enrollment] – Fixed Error When Adding Registration Codes to Large Groups

We resolved an issue where adding new registration codes to very large groups with numerous existing codes could trigger an error. Registration codes can now be added to these groups reliably, regardless of group size or how many codes are already assigned. This ensures a smoother enrollment experience for organizations managing large learner populations.

[Localization] – Corrected Special Character Display in French (Canada) Translations

We fixed a display issue where certain special characters were missing from automatically translated French (Canada) content. Translated text now renders these characters correctly. This improves readability and accuracy for French-Canadian learners.

[Assessments] – Fixed Retake Scheduling Setting Not Saving

Admins configuring retake scheduling on assessment courses found that the days-between-retakes setting would revert after being changed. This setting now saves correctly and stays in place as configured. Admins can confidently set custom retake intervals for their assessments.

[Admin Tools] – Resolved Error When Editing Email Notification Templates

Admins editing email notification templates encountered an error message that appeared without affecting their ability to save changes. This issue has been resolved so template edits now complete without errors. Admins can edit and manage notification templates smoothly.

[Reporting] – Resolved Export Errors for Select Reports

Admins were seeing “Failed” or “Unknown Error” messages when exporting certain reports to Excel. This issue has been resolved, and affected reports now export successfully. Admins can once again generate and download these reports without interruption.

[Reporting] – Fixed Missing Report Action Options

Some admins found that report action options were temporarily unavailable, leaving only the download option visible. This issue has been resolved so all expected report actions now appear consistently. Admins can access full report functionality without interruption.

[Course Content] – Fixed Resource Download Error for Some Course Files

Learners attempting to download certain course resource files, such as PDFs, occasionally encountered a download error. This issue has been resolved so affected resources now download successfully. Learners can access all course materials without interruption.

[Badges] – Fixed Badges Displaying for Inactive or Deleted Courses

Badges tied to courses that were later inactivated or deleted were still appearing to learners, even though the courses were no longer accessible. This has been corrected so badges now behave consistently with the availability of their required courses. Learners will no longer see badges tied to content they can’t access.

[Groups & Enrollment] – Fixed Custom Fields Not Saving on New Groups

When creating a new group, custom field values entered during setup were not being saved and appeared blank afterward. This issue has been resolved so custom field values now save correctly when a group is created. Admins can set up new groups with custom fields in a single step.

[Learning Paths] – Consistent Progress Updates for SCORM Course Completions

We fixed an issue where completing a SCORM course through certain automated processes didn’t always update the related Learning Path the same way as completing it directly. Learner progress and completion status now update consistently no matter how a course session is closed. This ensures Learning Paths always reflect accurate, up-to-date progress.

[Course Management] – Fixed Error When Deleting Completed SCORM Courses

Admins attempting to delete an eLearning SCORM course that a learner had already completed sometimes encountered an error. This issue has been resolved so these courses can now be deleted successfully regardless of completion history. Admins can manage and clean up course content without unexpected errors.
