I completed a course but I don’t see that it is marked Completed on my transcript. What do I do?

Next steps to troubleshoot a course if the completion is not registering

If you think you have completed a course but the course is not marked Completed on your transcript, review the following possible reasons. If you still cannot resolve the situation, contact your LMS administrator for help in investigating the cause and marking the course completed for you, if necessary.

  • Confirm that you have met the completion requirements specified in the course. For example, the course may require that all pages are viewed and perhaps you passed the final quiz but skipped pages during the process.
  • Confirm that while taking the course, you did not experience an interrupted internet connection. If connectivity is lost—even for a second—the course won’t be able to transmit completion data to the LMS. Avoid using mobile hotspots for this reason.
  • Confirm that while taking the course, you did not refresh the course page—either intentionally or unintentionally. If the course loses its connection to the LMS, the final quiz score may not be transmitted. Unintentional page refreshes can sometimes be triggered by third-party ad blocking software and security.
