This article will go over step by step instructions of how to upload a PDF/Word Document into our SCORM conversion tool, so you can easily create SCORM compliant courses.
Scormify makes it possible to take a document and turn it into an SCORM course without the user having to actually download the document.
Scormify support documents in the following formats:
- DOCX (Word Doc)
How to Upload a Document to Scormify
- Select the PDF/Word option
- Upload and configure your settings
- Autocomplete enables the course to be marked as complete when viewed
- Allow Document Download enables the downloading of the item attached
- Upload your file by selecting Create
- Wait for the Scorm package to be prepared
- You will be redirected to the configuration step with a green success bar on the right with the option to download
Unlike video courses, documents are uploaded into Scormify and included as part of the course zip file. If you elect to use a DOCX file, it will be converted into a PDF for you.
Creating a document course is as simple as dragging the PDF or Word document into the drop zone on the form.
PLEASE NOTE: This does not completely lock down the document, there are still ways a savvy user can download the document outside of the course.
