Learn how your LMS Training curriculum functions and how you receive courses.
Your LMS training curriculum is based on the following assignment structure:
- User Attributes: User attributes are characteristics that distinguish learners from each other within an organization, such as your department, job role, or location. Your user attributes appear on the Profile page in your LMS.
- Groups: A group is a set of users who share the same user attributes. Users are automatically assigned to a group based on their user attributes. Users can also be assigned to more than one group.
- Learning Paths: A learning path is a set of related training courses that will help you master a particular skill or competency. Learning paths can include eLearning, classroom, LinkedIn, and self-study courses. They can also be either required or elective. Learning paths are assigned to groups. This ensures that all group members receive the same training curriculum.
- Courses: Training courses are assigned to learning paths and can include eLearning, classroom, LinkedIn, and self-study courses. Courses assigned to required learning paths should be completed by their due date or set time period.
