Understand the two login methods of the Knowledge Anywhere LMS
Logging into the LMS is one of the most important items. For Admins, sometimes depending on how your LMS is set up, other methods may need to be utilized to gain access.
Login Types
Knowledge Anywhere currently uses two login methods:
- Manual Login, which consists of entering your email and password when at the login screen, accessed primarily by the URL, company.knowledgeanywhere.com.
- SSO is utilizing your organizations database, whether Okta or azure. When accessing the URL company.knowledgeanywhere.com, there will be a green "SSO" button. Clicking this will prompt an SSO login, with no need for an email or password.
Both of these methods will direct to the learner homepage.
Special Cases
Sometimes, SSO Admins may need to log in manually depending on certain circumstances. To do this, firstly, a password will need to be set for the admin on their profile within the Learners section in the administrative dashboard.
By entering company.knowledgeanywhere.com/login/admin/ will display the email and password manual login. When an admin logs in via this method using their credentials, they will be directed to the admin homepage.
