Can I distribute content without a license? No. An alternative option is to create a license without restrictions (i.e. no launch limit, no expiration date).
Can I end a license before it has expired? Yes. If the license is ended prior to the expiration this will impact the content organization when they attempt to launch the course. We encourage the content owner to contact all organizations associated with the license you want to cancel. Currently, Conveyor does NOT trigger a message warning the organizations.
How do I delete a license? Go to content > choose the course card that the license is associated with > scroll to the license section at the bottom of course details page > click on the overflow menu (three verticle dots) to the left of the license name > choose the delete option
Can I modify the details of a license after it has been distributed? Yes. Go to content > choose the course card that the license is associated with > scroll to the license grid at the bottom of the course details page > click on the overflow menu (three verticle dots) to the left of the license name > choose the edit option > this will take you to the license details page

What is the experience for an end-user (learner) if a license has expired? If a license has expired and a learner attempts to launch the content from their LMS platform. An error message will appear on the screen telling them "The license has expired please contact your LMS administrator".
Do I retain control/ ownership of my content? Yes. When you upload your content to Conveyor and assign a distribution license to it, Conveyor will create a vSCORM object that you will download and use to send to external customer LMS platforms. vSCORM does not contain your content but provides access to it based on the license rules you assign. Your content remains secure and your intellectual property protected.
