(V) How do I assign a learning path to a group?

After creating courses and assigning them to a learning path, you’re ready to assign the learning path to one or more groups to ensure that all users assigned to a particular group receive the same training curriculum.

Assigning Learning Paths to Groups ensures that all users who belong to a specific Group will receive the same training curriculum. By assigning the learning path to groups, you can streamline the training process and ensure consistency in the learning experience for all users within a particular group. This way, everyone in the group will have access to the same set of courses and follow a standardized learning journey.

Whether it's a team, department, or organization, assigning the learning path to groups simplifies the administration of training and ensures that everyone receives the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in their roles.

How to Assign a Learning Path to a Group

  1. Head to the Administrative Dashboard and select the Learners section from the navigation side bar.
  2. Hover over Groups at the top. Two options will appear, Search Group or Add Group. For this guide, we selected Search Group which will bring you to a screen that will display all groups in your LMS.
  3. Once you select the Group you want to add the learning path to. Within that group, you'll select the Learning Paths tab in the middle.
  4. Choose a Learning Path to assign to the group by using the dropdown. The Learning path will then be assigned to the Group.
  5. Select Save at the bottom.
