User Management>Creating Custom Reports
The LMS has many helpful reporting capabilities, and we recommend using a
combination of these reports to ensure users are tracking towards your training goals. Check out the robust list of reporting types below.
User Reports
User Details: Reports on user activity, such as, when they last logged into the system, and how many total logins they've had. This report can be run for Groups, Registration Codes, and even individual Microsites. It can also be filtered by your custom fields, as well as a "logged in date range" and "user created on" date range. This report can be exported to Excel for further filtering. You can find more details on this report type here.
External Completions: This is one of our report types with Logi View. It lists any External Completion that has been uploaded for each learner, and includes the date of completion as well as the date the completion was uploaded to the LMS.
Due Dates: This report type shows learners who have upcoming due dates in 14 days or less, 7 days or less, and who are overdue on courses. Administrators can search by Group or Course name, and this report can be filtered by your custom fields and also be exported to Excel.
Credits: If your LMS has credits enabled, you can use this report type to see a list of credits earned for each of our learners. This report has been created with our Logi View.
Badges: Badges are a great way to keep learners engaged and having fun with their training. This report lists the badges your learners have achieved so far and when they were achieved. This report has been created with our Logi View.
Course Reports
Course Details: This report gives Administrators visibility to the progress that learners have currently made on their training. It can show who has started training, who is in currently in progress, and who has completed training. Administrators can filter this data by Group, Course Sets, Active/Inactive courses, different iterations of courses, as well as individual Courses. This report also includes custom fields and can be exported to Excel.
Quiz Details: If the learning objects (SCORM) in your LMS report detailed quiz data to the LMS, Admins can view that data here. This data can include the name of the course, the question, question type, number of correct/incorrect responses, and the most common answer given by learners. This quiz can be helpful to use as a feedback tool for how quiz questions are interpreted by learners.
Please note: Due to the variations in how course authoring tools can be configured to publish learning objects (SCORM), courses may or may not report the detailed quiz data to the LMS which is needed for this report. Only courses that report detailed quiz data via SCORM to the LMS will be listed as available here to report on.
Classroom Enrollment: This report allows you to see key
information regarding all instructor-led training sessions that users have registered for
within the LMS – giving you visibility into the specific training session users have registered
for, completed, were a “no-show” to, and etc., within a given course offering. Like other
reports, the output of the report can be narrowed by applying filters.
Course Survey: The Course Survey Report is the easiest way to glean user
feedback for the training content on your LMS. It shows the learner who gave the
feedback, the group they’re in, the course the feedback is about, the course set the course
is in, the name of the survey, the date the feedback was given, and the survey questions
and answers the learner completed. The output of this report can be narrowed by running
it against only a few groups or a single group of learners, by limiting it to only one course
set or course in that set or a specific survey, or by specifying a date range.
LMS Reports
Popular Courses: Check out this report to see the top 10 courses your learners have began training in.
Daily Logins: This report gives easy visibility to login activity on your LMS, and has been created with our Logi View.
Satisfaction Survey: The Satisfaction Survey Report shows you the survey
feedback you have received from learners who have recently logged into the LMS. The
purpose of the survey is to measure learner satisfaction of the learning management
system as a whole, versus their training content, giving administrators insights into how
learners perceive aspects of the system—like ease of use or site navigation. This report
can be filtered based on date range.
Purchase History: If your LMS is enabled with eCommerce, this report will display information on purchases, including Order ID, Payment Provider ID, name of purchaser, Item name and type, Total cost, billing date, and what Group that purchaser is in.
