How are course due dates used in the LMS?

A due date is the date at which a training course has to be completed by the learner. If the learner fails to complete the course by the due date, both the admin and learner will see a message within the LMS stating that the course is past due. If this course is a prerequisite to other trainings, the learner will not be able to continue until this course has been completed. The learner will also receive an email notification that the course is past due.

Note:

• Due dates will only appear for the course if the learning path is required for that user
• There are no due dates for classroom courses
