Knowledge Anywhere's Assessment Tool offers the ability to add and edit:
- Manually created Assessments
- AI Assessments created from a document
- AI Assessments created from copy and pasted text
This allows Administrators to have full control over their quizzes within our training platform.
This guide will take you through a step-by-step process of how to add and edit a manually created assessment using New Assessment Tool.
Step 1: Locate the Assessment
You can start to create your manual Assessment in two ways:
- Go to Content > Manage Content > Assessments, click "Add Assessment," then choose the first option of "Add Assessment Manually"
- Go to Content > Create Content > Add Assessments Manually
Once here, you'll see a History of drafted and published Assessments, where you can edit or delete your Assessments.
Step 2: Start Your Manual Assessment
Fill in your assessment details in the form provided. These details usually include the assessment title, description, passing percentage, and language.
Step 3: Select Question Types
After setting the basic assessment details, click the 'Save and View/Add Question' button. Choose the question type (e.g., Multiple Choice, Multi-Select, or True or False).
Step 4: Add Questions
Input your questions and possible answers. Don't forget to select a correct answer! Randomize the order for Learners so there are no patterns that show off where the correct question is.
Step 5: Review Your Finalized Questions and Answers
Once you are done creating questions, you'll see a page that shows you all your questions and answers. Feel free to edit until you're ready to publish.
Step 6: Publish Your Assessment
Publishing your Assessment is the final step. This will allow you to turn your quiz into a SCORM object that can be used on the Knowledge Anywhere LMS or any other SCORM-compliant LMS.
To publish your quiz, start on the Manage Content > Assessments screen. In the grid containing all the assessments you have created, find the Publish icon in the Publish column for the Assessment you want finalized and render to SCORM.
After the Publish process has completed, you will see a Download icon appear in the download column. Download the SCORM package (ZIP folder) and either associate it to a course in the Knowledge Anywhere LMS, or use it on another platform.
After an Assessment has been published, it is no longer editable. If you need to edit an Assessment, make a copy of it, complete your edits, and republish for use as a replacement to the original.
This feature is integrated within Knowledge Anywhere's LMS. However, to turn on the feature, please reach out to your Account Manager or Customer Success at firstname.lastname@example.org.
